What does it cost?
The target-list tool on this page is free. The founding pilot is free too. Team pricing will be announced before the pilot ends, and nothing is billed unless you agree.
Where does the data come from?
Rosters, game stats, head coaches and transfer portal entries come from CollegeFootballData.com. Majors offered come from the U.S. Department of Education's College Scorecard.
How often is it updated?
Rosters and stats update twice a week. Transfer portal entries update daily.
How is "leaving" counted?
For a transfer, "leaving" means seniors and fifth-year players at that position on the current roster. For a high school recruit, it counts everyone who will have used up their eligibility by the fall he arrives. Class years come from recruiting records; walk-ons and some transfers have no record and are not counted, so numbers can run slightly low.
Do you store my players' information?
No. Players you add to your board are saved only in your own browser. Nothing you type in the tool is sent to OpenRoomCFB.
Is OpenRoomCFB affiliated with the NCAA or any school?
No. OpenRoomCFB is independent and is not affiliated with the NCAA, any conference, or any school.
Can it guarantee playing time or an offer?
No. It shows where a position room is opening up so you can build a smarter list. Coaches, fit and film still decide everything.
