Who we are

Open Room (the iPhone app and the website at openroomcfb.com) is operated by Beacom Sports Technology LLC, an Illinois limited liability company ("we," "us"). By using Open Room, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Open Room.

Who can use Open Room

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission to create an account or buy anything, and your parent or guardian agrees to these terms on your behalf.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity on your account. Give us accurate information when you sign up. You can delete your account at any time, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Paid plans

Open Room Pro is a subscription, billed monthly or yearly. Coach Season Access is a one-time purchase for one football program for the season shown at checkout, and it does not renew automatically.

You can buy Pro in two ways:

• On our website, where payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
• In the iPhone app, where payments are processed by Apple under Apple's terms.

Pro unlocks on both the app and the website no matter where you bought it, as long as you're signed in to the same account.

Automatic renewal and cancellation

Pro subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, charged to your payment method on file, until you cancel. You can cancel anytime:

• Website purchases: cancel from your account page on openroomcfb.com, or email support@openroomcfb.com.
• App Store purchases: cancel in your iPhone's Settings under your Apple ID, then Subscriptions.

When you cancel, you keep Pro access through the end of the period you've already paid for. If we change the price of Pro, we'll tell you before the new price applies, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

Refunds

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

Ask Open Room research requests

Coach Season Access includes a set number of Ask Open Room research requests per season. Unused requests don't carry over to the next season. Research reports are based on public information and our analysis, and they're provided for informational purposes only.

Our data and its limits

Open Room's football and academic data comes from public sources, including CollegeFootballData.com and the U.S. Department of Education's College Scorecard. Rosters, stats, portal moves, and majors change often, and our sources can be incomplete or wrong. Open Room is a research tool. It is not a guarantee of roster spots, scholarships, admissions, eligibility, or playing time. Confirm important details directly with schools and coaching staffs before making decisions.

You're responsible for following NCAA, conference, and school rules, including recruiting and transfer rules, when you use information from Open Room.

Acceptable use

Don't:

• Scrape, copy, or bulk-download Open Room's data, or access it with bots or automated tools.
• Resell, redistribute, or share paid access or reports outside the account or program they were purchased for.
• Try to break, overload, or get around the security or payment features of Open Room.
• Use Open Room to harass anyone or for anything illegal.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

Our content

The Open Room app, website, design, rankings, and research reports belong to Beacom Sports Technology LLC. You can use them for your own personal or program use. Underlying public data remains owned by its original sources.

Not affiliated

Open Room is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the NCAA, any conference, or any school.

Disclaimers

Open Room is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we don't promise that it will always be available, error-free, or accurate, and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Beacom Sports Technology LLC won't be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Open Room. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

If we make material changes, we'll update this page and its effective date, and we'll notify account holders by email before the changes take effect. Continuing to use Open Room after that means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in DuPage County, Illinois.
